Description
Hyflex 6×36 — a high-quality flexible 6×36 class crane rope built on an Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC) for high strength, crush resistance and consistent performance. The multi-strand 6×36 (14-7+7-7-1) / 6×41 (16-8+8-8-1) construction gives good flexibility for hoist, boom-hoist, trolley and lattice-boom reeving. Fully lubricated in manufacture, and every production batch is sample-tested to destruction to confirm catalogue breaking forces. Supplied in 1960 N/mm² high-tensile steel as standard (1770 N/mm² also available), bright or galvanized, in ordinary or Langs lay. Diameters Ø 8–60 mm with minimum breaking force up to 2510 kN (256 t). Discard criteria to ISO 4309:1990. (Langs lay must only be used where both rope ends cannot rotate.)
